Design and development of a data acquisition system for the production lines at
Tarkett Sommer’s factory in Ronneby. The system acquire production data such as lengths, weights and qualities at the
production aggregates and sends the data to the factory system (PRINS) via BEA MessageQ. The system also communicates
with a number of peripheral systems e.g. SattCon via Comli, Siemens Simatic PLC and Zebra printers. The system
was developed in Visual C++ and is based on Microsoft COM.
